I am a satisfied user of Fujifilm. My main camera is Fuji XT-1, but for a long time I’ve been looking for something smaller. Something what I can throw in my backpack and have it always with me. Firstly I wanted to get some tiny profi compact, but then I decided differently. I searched the bazaars and found the old Fujifilm X100 in a limited black edition. Is it worth buying in 2017?
There is a city on the southeast coast of the Gulf of Persia. A city that has made its country famous, but so different from the rest of it. Dubai, is a showcase of the wealth of United Arab Emirates. Experiencing Dubai is in the mood today. Because Dubai shows what a man is capable of. What he can easily create if he just can. So man has an endless variety of possibilities there – If you have a money for that. In any case, Dubai is worth a visit. It is a truly exceptional city. But what is the overall impression of it? Is it artificial or is it just a unique experience?
Rio is an amazing city. You can find many contrasts there. It is incredibly diverse. It is as dirty as beautiful, sometimes dangerous but fascinating, disturbing but soothing. You will discover it with amazingly rich culture and endless possibilities. I wish I could get to know this city better. Maybe once.
I have no need to recall the fact that Paralympic games are full of strong moments and emotions. In sports, emotions are just what people are attracted to. What attracts them and what makes them the best to get their fans. Emotions are what makes sport a sport. Emotions are that reason, why people turn on TV. Rio 2016 Paralympics was no exception. I am lucky I can see what’s going on behind the scenes. And here’s a few moments, especially from behind the scenes. From venues.
Paralympic and Olympic Games are opened and closed by ceremonies. Opening ceremonies are among my biggest experiences at all. I have seen them in Beijing, London and the last one on PH Rio 2016. These are the moments when one feels that it has begun. And vice versa.
This year I was on my third Paralympic Games. This time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There has been some time since the return and I feel it’s time to publish some of my shots. But, firstly not from Rio, but from the time before departure.
Včera som absolvoval festival Mesiac fotografie 2016 v Bratislave. Teda chcel som absolvovať. Nakoniec som sa uspokojil s omrvinkami. Teda, neuspokojil.
